Frank Deschino has been a Nationally Registered and NYS Certified Paramedic since 1988. A strong advocate for high quality, patient centered pre-hospital care; he became an NYS Certified Instructor Coordinator in 1993.  In 1995 he was appointed to the NYS EMS Regional Faculty, and in 2009 became a Program Coordinator for Instructor Education Programs.  He is also Regional Faculty for the 
American Heart Association’s BLS, ACLS, and PALS programs, and an instructor for the NAEMT Prehospital Trauma Life Support program. 

He was honored with the Rockland County and Hudson Valley Regional EMS Council’s Educator of the Year award in 2006 and the Rockland County Commissioner of Health’s Award of Excellence in EMS Education in 2005. Among his other positions, Mr. Deschino has been a paramedic at Rockland Paramedics since 1988 where he currently serves as the Administrative Captain.  He is also a Rockland County Deputy EMS Coordinator and the Emergency Manager and EMS Educator for the Village of New Square. Previously he directed the Paramedic Education Programs at SUNY Westchester and Rockland Community Colleges. Recently, he was appointed to the Hudson Valley Regional Trauma Advisory Committee.
